john4jack from Corvallis, United StatesNeat portrait. Superb capture of his eyes! 6 Mar 2009 5:35am k@ from Paris, FranceI love your angle, Zahaï, and i do enjoy your friend's face, so much kindness in his beautiful eyes, I'd love to meet you, guyz ! Someday in Berlin, why not ? 6 Mar 2009 8:06am @k@: Thank you. And make sure to let me know should you happen to be in Berlin one day :) Laura from Birmingham, United KingdomWhat a fantastic idea for a portrait. It works so well and it is so well exposed. The guy on the right looking straight down the lens works out really well. 6 Mar 2009 9:50am Anna.C from LA ROCHELLE, Franceexcellent double portrait, double focus ! your friends look very friendly ! 6 Mar 2009 12:12pm Craig@Random Ramblings from Herts, United KingdomI love the idea and the composition. A little fill flash would have brought the shutter speed up and thus the figure in the foreground would have been sharp but you would have lost the great shadows........a tough choice but it's still worked out well ;O) 6 Mar 2009 12:31pm @Craig@Random Ramblings: Thank you. Yea, this capture surely isn't perfect, and the 1s exposure time is suboptimal...but i had no flash available and no tripod at hand, and since this is a snapshot, i think the scene makes up for the lack of sharpness :) EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomVery stylish, and intimately captured. THis is a wonderful photograph with striking poses and great expressions. Artistic and cool 6 Mar 2009 1:29pm @EYES WIDE SHUT: Thanks a lot :) bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaThis is a great s hot! It's got a cinematic quality...a scene from a movie with great selective focus! Nice! 6 Mar 2009 1:48pm @bluechameleon: Thank you. And thanks everyone else as well. michele from Penacook, United StatesGood DOF and lighting works well to set the mood. 6 Mar 2009 2:54pm jim from sebastopol, United Statesi like the contrasts in lighting, with the fellow in the background in a pool of light (obscure and unknown)and the man in foreground in shadow, (whom we know) with clear expression and playful eyes. you are accomplishing great images, my friend! jim 6 Mar 2009 4:10pm Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesI really like this in B&W and the focus point and then the blurred background create a lot of visual interest - nice work!! 6 Mar 2009 9:53pm Cricket-Tammy from United StatesOhhh...I like this one. The faces and images are not even talking but it appears they can speak with their eyes. Really nice. 8 Mar 2009 5:50am Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesI think this is a great B&W portrait- I don't mind at all about the shadows, I think it adds to the mood of the image. 10 Mar 2009 3:19pm |
