"Ab hoc possum videre domum tuum."

I dared to go outside, after all, and ended up on top of a multi-storey car park, which got me pretty high up over the city. The weather wasn't ideal, but i managed to get a couple of nice shots anyways. You're gonna see them in the following days.

well done my friend! when i first saw this image i had to laugh because i saw a cute little robot head, then the sinister nature of it became clear after i scrolled down the entire image. it is kind of odd to have a laugh followed by a little chill. jim

ist das "Ad" n wortspiel, das ich nicht verstehe, n tippfehler oder taeuscht mich mein restlatein? (das wuerde da naemlich ein "ab" vermuten.)
parkhaeuser sind uebrigens auch ne nette kulisse fuer (selbst)portaits. waer schoen, auch in der richtung mal wieder was von dir zu sehen... :-)

@sophron: Ich hab keine ahnung von Latein, zugegebenermaßen. Hab ich so aus 'nem Buch übernommen, aber "ad hoc"...von hier...ich dachte das passt schon?
Hmm, an Portraits in Parkhäusern hab ich noch garnicht gedacht ... gute idee :) auch wenn's schwierig ist (für mich zumindest) wen zu finden der/die sich als Model zur verfügung stellt...so ist das mit den fotoscheuen bekannten ^^

ja, nee, "ad" ist eigentlich eher "zu" oder "hin" und "ab" ist "von" , "weg". und "hoc" heisst zwar auch nicht "hier", sondern "dieses", aber "ab hoc" koennte mensch vielleicht trotzdem mit "von hier" uebersetzen.
und du hast das so aus nem buch? - hm, pratchett, wa!? (da komt ja manchmal was lateinisches...)

was die parkhaeuser angeht: wenn ich auch mal "zurueckschiessen" darf, wuerde ich mich ja glatt anbieten... ;-) ... (waer dann zwar mit erhoehtem schwierigkeitslevel fuer dich, aber mit nem bisschen glueck und talent, kann mensch sogar von mir n nettes bild machen.)

@sophron: Pratchett, in der Tat...und da hab ich vermutlich auch noch falsch zitiert. Sowas. :D
